Giving Back
Through my network, I’ve been fortunate to meet inspiring nonprofits and community organizations making a real difference. I’m grateful to support their missions by volunteering my social media expertise, photography, and videography to help amplify their stories and reach more people.
I’ve been volunteering with Pink Aid Long Island, supporting their Community Engagement Initiatives through social media outreach, as well as providing photography and videography coverage for events. I’m proud to use my skills to help raise awareness and share the inspiring stories behind their mission.
I’ve been working with Drive Electric Long Island to support their mission of accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles across Long Island. My work includes managing paid social media campaigns, providing photography and videography coverage to promote event attendance, and creating their monthly newsletter to keep the community informed and engaged in the movement toward a cleaner, more sustainable future.
In 2019, I volunteered as the Social Media Manager for VetZero, a campaign led by a Marist professor and Navy veteran who walked across the country to raise awareness and funds for veteran homelessness and suicide prevention. For six months, I managed the campaign’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts, created and promoted fundraising initiatives such as t-shirt sales, and provided photography and videography coverage for events. I also conducted research on veterans’ issues and local communities along his route, responded to messages, and coordinated outreach efforts to maximize engagement and visibility.
